There's a VW brand in Europe called Skoda, with a wonderful marketing team.
The props needed for their latest commercial included 10 kg white chocolate chunks, 20 kg raisins, 180 fresh eggs, 30kg brown almonds.... You have to see it to believe it:
Even better is the video of how they made the commercial! I love the attention given to details, like the engine under the hood and the "oil" in the crank-case:

Once the communist era ended they gave the impression that they wanted to show that they could match anyone when it came to making cars. They became part of the VW group about 10 years ago, as did Spanish company Seat - and regularly the cars made in Spain or the Czech Republic are found to be even better build quality etc. than those sold under the VW brand itself - workforce pride maybe.
But both companies had this poor reputation - Skoda particularly - and had to set out to convince people that these were excellent cars not some sort of joke - hence a series of wonderful adverts. To start with they took the micky out of this reputation - people complaining that the car was a good looking vehicle so it must have the wrong badge etc., but since then they have just kept on making wonderfully quirky ads.
I saw this one last week with my daughter, and we loved it so much. We were almost sure that it must be a Skoda ad before the very end!
By the way - our Skoda is a lovely car - with an enormous boot (trunk) which has proved useful over and over again.
